Bottle Fillers
Gravity, Vacuum, and Counter Pressure Bottle Fillers for Wine, Spirits, Beer, Cider and Olive Oil
Bottle fillers, Vacuum or Gravity, that fill to a certain level of a bottle, typically controlled by an adjustment on the filling nozzle. Intended for liquids without solids with a viscosity not more than that of olive oil or cooking oil. Most fillers require different nozzles for olive or other oils compared to nozzles intended for beverages like wine, spirits or apple juice. We also have Counter Pressure Bottle Fillers for carbonated beverages like beer, cider, sparkling water, and kombucha.

Gravity, Vacuum, and Counter Pressure Bottle Fillers for Wine, Spirits, Beer, Cider and Olive Oil
At Winemakers Depot we can modify or configure our vacuum bottle fillers for bottles with a wide range of opening diameters, for oils, perfume, spirits, and can mix and match nozzles to accommodate different products or containers. Our bottle fillers, depending on exact bottle specifications, can fill from 50ml miniature bottles, often times up to 1.5L wine. oil, or spirits bottles. We have specialty air filters to accommodate high sugar content products like liqueurs or fruit juices (without pulp), and in line filters to prepare your finished, wine, juice or olive oil, during the bottling process. We also have traditional Gravity Bottle Fillers and Counter Pressure Bottle Fillers for carbonated beverages like beer, cider, sparkling water, and kombucha.

Vacuum vs. Gravity Bottle Fillers
1. Accuracy & consistency
- Vacuum fillers win: they stop automatically at a set level using suction control
- Gravity fillers rely on timing or overflow → less precise unless using advanced overflow systems
-
If you need uniform fill levels (e.g. wine bottles) - vacuum is more accurate
- Vacuum fillers remove air before filling, reducing oxidation
- Gravity fillers expose liquid to air during filling
-
If product is sensitive (wine, oils) - vacuum is better
- Vacuum: can pull liquid from below (no need to elevate tank)
- Gravity: requires tank above filler or transfer pump
-
If your layout is tight - vacuum is easier and takes up less space
- Gravity overflow systems can be very fast for large-scale production
- Vacuum fillers are fast but more common in small–medium operations
- Gravity = cheaper + fewer parts
- Vacuum = more expensive (pump, seals, controls)
- Vacuum works best for:
- low to medium viscosity liquids
- non-carbonated products
- Gravity works best for:
- thin liquids (water, juice, light oils)
- can struggle with consistency if viscosity varies
