The Zambelli Emme 60 features a Wide-Load Hopper with a variable speed Feeding Auger, variable speed Destemming Drum and Shaft, removable Crushing Unit, and motorized Must Collection Hopper with Auger. The Emme 60 is driven by three independent 220-volt, single-phase motors with variable frequency control capable of processing up to 6 - 8 tons of grapes per hour. The Variable Frequency Drive enables the speed of the Destemming Drum and Shaft to be adjusted and set on the fly using the on-board digital control panel. The speed of the In-Feed Auger can also be independently adjusted while in operation using the mechanical variable speed control. The Destemming Shaft is outfitted with rubber paddles that are adjustable in depth and angle. The destemmer contains a Clean In Place ("CIP") internal washing system, free-run juice ("first juice recovery") basin & drain, and height-adjustable legs.
The Emme 60 is equipped with a sliding Crushing Unit that can easily be removed to retrieve destemmed whole berries without crushing them. Housed within the Crushing Unit is a pair of rubber rollers that can be adjusted on the fly to provide the desired level of crushing. The Destemmer is also supplied with a wheeled Must Collection Hopper containing a motorized Central Auger to ensure that the destemmed grapes are continuously being fed to your transfer pump.
NEW Optional In-Feed Hopper Extension to accommodate dumping macro bins directly into the Destemmer. Extension Opening Dimensions: 55" W x 36" D.
