Dosing and Conveying Sorting Tables
As with so much equipment designed specifically for the cider industry, a “Sorting Table” can either be a simple machine that functions exactly as the name suggests; or it can serve multiple purposes, performing as many as two or three tasks at the same time. From simple vibrating tables that separate the fruit that is placed on it for easier sorting, to conveyors that transport the fruit from one machine to another while it is manually sorted as it passes, to cleaning tables that use augers fitted with scrubbing brushes and slotted screens that allow unripe fruit to automatically fall away to be discarded; “Sorting Tables” encompasses a wide range of products.
