EPDM Sanitary Gaskets are extremely durable and equally flexible; exceptionally resistant to weather, saturation/swelling, and abrasive chemicals (including alkalis, acids, and alcohol). EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is a USP Class VI material that meets FDA and 3A compliance, and operates best in a temperate range of (-30° - 300°F). EPDM has better resistivity to general cleaning chemicals than silicone.
