Hobra "Premium" filter cartridges are made from health-safe raw materials, cellulose, & high-quality diatomaceous pearlites. Hobra cartridges use direct filtration of foreign substances ("Mechanical Filtration"), light molecular interactions among particles of solutions and the filter sheet material ("Electrostatic Absorption"), and special treatment with polyelectrolytes that make it possible to capture particles 10x smaller than dimensions of filter sheet pores. Hobra cartridges come in a diameter of 16" (400 mm) or 12" (300 mm). 1 to 4 modules can be used at a time. These modules are the flat-gasket type.
