The RLV ISO-C by RIZZOLIO is a semi-automatic isobaric can filler available in 2-nozzle, 4-nozzle, and 6-nozzle configurations. It is designed for precise filling of carbonated beverages, such as cider, beer, sparkling wine, and sparkling water; but can also be used for filling still (non-carbonated) liquid. At the start of the filling cycle, the cans are automatically raised to the filling nozzles, where an airtight seal is made around the top of the cans. Using multiple ports within the nozzles, they fill the can with gas (CO²) while a light vacuum pulls out the oxygen that is being displaced. The filling nozzles draw product from the overhead filling tank, which is also pressurized with CO², and force product to flow down the interior sides of the cans to minimize turbulence and reduce foam. Once the set fill level is reached, a quick shot of gas is added to the product to create a layer of carbonized foam that acts as a barrier to prevent oxygen from entering.
The RLV ISO-C Isobaric Can Filler can be outfitted with rinsing stations for cans and can be set up for automatic operation with onboard Touchscreen Control Panel.
