Reception Hoppers, Sorting Tables, and Conveyors
Though much of the reception, sorting, and moving product around is done by hand at small cideries; as operations scale up, so does the importance of having efficient and well-planned equipment to move product through each stage of the process. Most sorting and receiving equipment specifically designed for cideries serves multiple purposes; such as elevators with onboard hammer mills & rinsing jets and sorting tables with brush scrubbing augers to clean the fruit as it's sorted.
