The PRIMA-1 Single-Station Capper by ViMEG is a fully automatic capping machine that can be configured to apply Corks, Screw Caps, or Crown Caps to bottles of various shape or size. The self-contained unit is complete with its own conveyer belt for loading and unloading bottles, hopper with loading arm for the caps and corks, single corking or capping head (screw cap heads are produced based on specs of intended caps), motor, and on-board control unit for operating the machine and adjusting the production speed. The revolving in-feed starwheel secures the base of the bottle at the point of capping, while individual microsensors ensure that the bottle opening is correctly aligned for precise application of the cork or cap. The on-board variable frequency digital control allows you to adjust the speed of both the conveyor and corking piston / capper head, as well as switch between automatic and manual capping on the fly. The descending cork / cap track contains a photocell sensor to ensure the presence of a cork / cap in the feed channel.
